In our groups we have long understood that God has promised to save those that have been counted worthy from the ravages of the Great Tribulation.

In time past it was thought that God would make it known to the “leaders” of the WCG churches When it was time and where we should be going to. And during that day and time it did not seem unreasonable to assume that was going to happen. But what about today’s “church” environment? What about the “Laodicean” landscape?

If a minister were to tell you that we need to flee now, that we should get our passports ready and buy a ticket to wherever the “Place of Safety” turns out to be, would you be ready to go? Would you have enough faith in that minister to “believe” him?

By the time this happens what is the world going to be like? Is it likely that we will be able to just go anywhere at that time? And how many of us are prepared to go out of this country to a far off place of safety anyway?

There is a song that I love to listen to by Mark Graham called It doesn’t Matter Anymore. It sings about what it would be like when the word is finally given and it is time for us to leave. You should take a moment and listen to it. But is that really how it is going to be? And if it is, how many of us are ready to take advantage of it?

The Body of Christ today is scattered far and wide. Is God going to tell every minister where and when so they can pass it along to the brethren? And if He did how many of us would believe it?

We have ministers who teach that you are not going to get the word to flee unless you are a part of their Congregations.  They say church but that is a misnomer. They mean being a member of their particular corporate congregations. So with all the confusion about who how and when the word is going to go out, how are you going to be sure?

Well the point is brethren that there is ample biblical evidence that we are going to be gathered individually by God’s Holy Angels and taken to a central location from where we will leave as a group to go to the place of safety. That is if we are accounted worthy to escape what is coming.

There is a set of scriptures in Luke 17 that outlines what I am referring to.

Luk 17:28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Notice Luke is talking about a day that is coming where the world doesn’t expect. They do not understand the signs that lead up to it. But also more importantly it is A DAY a single day where Christ is going to be revealed. Revealed to who? Is this referring to the second coming? Lets see.

Luk 17:31  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Notice a couple of things here.

1.We are still talking about a day, that day, a single day when the son of man will be revealed.
2. PLUS the people are commanded to not try and take anything with them. If this were the resurrection, the return of Christ to rule the earth we would be changed in an instant there would be no reason to “take” anything with us to the resurrection!

Luk 17:32  Remember Lot’s wife.
Luk 17:33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

This seems to be talking about a Day when Christ will reveal Himself to His people. Notice a scripture just above this where He is saying that there is coming a day that the disciples would like to see but will not be able to because they will have already died before this day arrives.

Luk 17:22  And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

This is a day where Christ reveals Himself to his people in order to save some of them out of what is coming on the world.

Notice what comes next in context.

Luk 17:34  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Luk 17:35  Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:36  Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:37  And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Can you see what is going on here? Eagles are physically removing some of God’s people while leaving others. They are taking them to a place where the “Body” is being gathered together.

This event is the gathering that occurs at the 1335. It is not being taken to a place of safety that happens to the gathered group at the 1290 day event when the Abomination of Desolation is set up. By that time all who are coming will have been gathered together by the Holy Angels to a single location. They will then flee at the 1290 day event.

Remember God refers to His angels that help Israel of Old and Spiritual Israel today as eagles.

Exo_19:4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

We are not going to get a call given to the ministry where they will selectively tell those that THEY feel are worthy to get ready and to leave. Not at all, Angels are going to come to each one of us whom God has deemed to be worthy to escape the destruction of the Great Tribulation.

We don’t have to worry about getting the word from a minister, no, God himself will be sending an angel to get each one of us there will be no room for doubt, we just have to be ready to go when the angel comes.
