Since the breakup of the Worldwide Church of God and the growth of the many different congregations and corporate groupings of the body of Christ, many of us find ourselves alone. Unable or even unwilling to congregate with our brethren.
There are of course many reasons for this state of affairs but it puts each of us in a dangerous position. The body of Christ is a family, brethren, we are not meant to be alone, God’s word tells us to not forsake the assembling together;
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
But notice the reason is so that we can exhort one another as the Day of the Lord approaches. Webster says the following about exhorting:
EXHORT’ING. Inciting to good deeds by words or arguments; encouraging; counseling.
So many of us feel alone like no one cares what we are going through. Many have been hurt by the ministry or other brethren. We feel ostracized from the Body yet our connection to God is still strong. We need the strength of the Body/Family of Christ to support us just as we want to help others who need it but have no way to do so.
With the advent of the Online Meeting Rooms, a venue has been developed where we can assemble together to share the love and camaraderie of the Family of God from anywhere in the world. These Rooms utilize a variety of communication tools, audio, text, and even video.
This is not another attempt to start another competing organization. This is a place where the body of Christ is welcome no matter your affiliation or not. Here is a place where you can ask questions without fear of repercussions from the ministry. My name is Raymond Mills, I am one of the Hosts for the room. The idea is for us to be able to meet and hear the word of God and discuss it openly together in harmony. to share our problems and blessing, to encourage each other as we go through our daily trials of life and prepare for what is just ahead.
We ask you to behave in the room as behooves a Christian but we do not ask that you believe exactly as we do as you are not “joining” a “church” organization. You are already part of the Body of Christ. God and His Holy Spirit are at work in each of us to bring us to the truth in our own time and method.
We are here to support one another, to love one another, to get to know our brethren. Come by anytime you want to fellowship with others who love God, His word, as well as the body of Christ. You are not alone, brethren. Those of us who have been attending here for a while have grown to truly love each other.
We have unaffiliated ministers and elders from the wcg background who are there for prayer or counseling. We broadcast sermons and bible studies and then enter into rewarding discussions, each Sabbath, you are all welcome.
There are many of us out there who are referred to, rightly so in many cases, as the “Walking Wounded”. We are a place where you can come to heal and draw closer to God. Where your brethren are there to support and encourage you and to hold you up before God. We have many who also attend a physical congregation but come here for additional fellowship. We have one lady who comes each week from South Africa.
We want to help! Join us in worshipping God each Sabbath. We hold live services/events at the following times:
- Wednesday at 7 pm open Fellowship. No studies just an opportunity to meet and share with your brethren.
- Friday evenings at 7 pm we host an interactive Bible Study
- Sabbath Meeting is held at 11 am
