I was reading a scripture today that got me to thinking;

Zep 2:1  Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
Zep 2:2  Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you.
Zep 2:3  Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

Is this what we should be doing? Is this what the Lord is looking for in order to determine who might be saved out of what is coming?

Then I remembered;

Mat 12:30  He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

Obviously God wants us to be united but the ministry in many groups continue to forbid the brethren from fellowshipping together. Does this not seem to you to be in fact scattering the brethren even more?

Maybe that is why Christ finds Himself on the outside of the people in this Laodicea time span of the church.

Rev 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

He is Knocking on the door of each individual member of the body of Christ. He is asking for repentance and zealousness as the means for us to open to him. We might not be able as individuals to gather back together in one group but we could have that attitude that Zephaniah mentioned of wanting to gather together of wanting to fellowship with ALL of our brethren not just those in our own groups. That might just be the mindset that Christ is looking for in His people today.

This website has been established to provide an area where brethren can meet and fellowship with other brethren no matter what your affiliation. This is not a place you have to join rather it is a Spiritual Watering Hole where all members of the Body of Christ are welcome and where we truly do have welcoming and rewarding fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mal 3:16  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Mal 3:17  And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

The Lord wants us to want to be together, brethren, even if we cannot be physically. He has provided tools such as we use here to meet and fellowship, to ask questions with out censorship, to learn and grow and to take that growth back to your groups to show your fellows what Christ is doing and what he wants us all to be doing. Here is the will of God for us that we want to be together as brethren where we can show the love we have for all of our brethren. Because that is the thing that will truly show the world that we are Christs.

Joh_13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh_13:35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

If you want to be counted worthy of escaping, if we want to be hidden in the day of the Lord’s Anger, then show God in what ever way that you can that you have that love of the brethren and that you want to be together as a people again.
