You know brethren, recently I have been told that I speak with too much authority about things that I do not know that much about. It was a little unsettling to say the least.
After going over what was being discussed I realized that I was only saying what I had been taught back in the WCG. So why did they complain about me speaking with too much authority?
It was puzzling to me. I had to pray about it and try to get to the bottom of it. See I am not an Apostle or even a Minister or ordained servant of God. I say this because I do not want any one to think that I am trying to think more highly of myself than I aught. But I am a trained salesman. I consider myself a good salesman that is one that tells only the truth. But if I believe something to be true. If I have personally investigated it and proven it to myself then I do speak of it with authority and I see no wrong in that.
But, and here is where I want folks to pay attention. Just because I believe something to be true, just because believing that, I speak with authority and conviction, be careful that you are not swayed by the power of the way I state things. That is my training coming out.
Always brethren look to the scriptures and only the scriptures to prove what I am saying. If I can say it with enough authority behind it to cause you to look at the scriptures, then I have done my job. the rest is up to God and the Holy spirit to convict you of the truth of it.
I don’t make up things here, I have either gotten them directly from the Philadelphia ERA of God’s church and/or I have seen them plainly in God’s word.
We do not have to be Greek or Hebrew Scholars to understand the word of God. The Holy Spirit is there to show us the truths embedded in God’s word.
Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
But again brethren, just like Mr. Armstrong taught us, don’t believe a thing because it is put forth in an authoritative or convincing way, look up the scriptures for yourselves and prove all things. I could be wrong and I do not wish to be responsible for you believing something that is not true.
1Th_5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
This site is about encouraging you take a close look at yourself and where we are in the prophetic timeline so that you can see the urgency that is stressed in all the scriptures referring to the end time church.(the Laodicean ERA) of the Church.
Remember to watch and keep yourself mindful of where we are. Look deep to see what you need to repent of and try hard to revive that Zealous love of the truth.
