This week we are re-instituting the Wednesday Night Fellowship meetings. The meetings will be at 8 pm CDT every Wednesday in our online meeting room.

We have found that in our normal Sabbath Services and Bible Studies, there is not enough time for us as individuals to get acquainted with each other. By the time we discuss what we have learned in the studies, there is not much time left for us to get to know one another.

So these Wednesday Night Fellowships are not about learning or studying God’s word, they are more about getting to know each other. Learning to have fun being around your brethren. We want you to share how you came to know God and his plan. The Bible tells us to not forsake the assembling together in order that we may encourage and support one another.

Heb_10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

So many of us are scattered abroad where we do not have local congregations close enough to fellowship with regularly. For many, all we have is being able to “listen or watch” Sabbath Services from our homes with no fellowship with our brethren at all. That is not what God intends for us.

We are a family brethren. God is our Father and Christ is not only our Savior and High Priest but is also, in fact, our ELDER brother. We are intended to grow together in love and concern for our spiritual family. So let’s use this time of fellowship to get to know each other more. Here we can our lives with brethren that care about us. We can encourage those of us who are down or sick or worried about the future. We can lift each other up and learn to truly LOVE our brethren and be loved in return.

Share your problems so we can pray, let us hear about your blessing so we can praise God and be encouraged ourselves.

These rooms can many times be even more effective than being in a physical meeting. I mean how many times have you gone to church and then after services got up and went home without really talking or sharing with anyone there. I know in my early years in the church I sure did.

Sometimes it takes a while for us to really get into “sharing” with others. Many of us tend to kind of stay in the background. We listen to what’s going on but don’t inject ourselves into the mix as often as we might or as often as we should. Well, that’s OK brethren, I have found that you get a lot out of just being there and hearing the back and forth among those brethren that do tend to share a bit more, sometimes about too much more heh heh.

But what you will find is that we are all different, you will find many things that need prayer, you will find opportunities to show love and concern where brethren truly need it. But the main thing you will find in fellowshipping with your brethren is a growing love for us all. The bible tells us that the world will know us by the love we share with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

(Joh 13:35)  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.

Come on in brethren, learn to love your brethren and be loved by them. It’s kind of like the Feasts of God where you can renew old friendships and get to know one another again after a long absence. You remember the feelings of joy when meeting up again. This fellowship room works a lot like that. We can come together from all over the world to just talk and fellowship. Get to know one another again after all we are going to spend eternity with these folks as part of the church of the Firstborn in the Kingdom we need to become part of the true FAMILY of GOD.

It doesn’t matter what group you are affiliated with, that doesn’t matter here. This is about brothers and sisters in Christ who share His Holy Spirit coming together as a family regardless of any group or corporate trappings. I mean look at the work Christ is doing in this time phase of the church. Before He was opening doors for the group/corporate church to walk through to reach out to the world but NOW, brethren, He is KNOCKING on each of OUR doors, asking, US, to open to Him. So again how does the world know that we are HIS disciples?…..By, the love, we show to the brethren!!!!!!!
